The people of British Columbia are once again facing an extreme weather emergency on a massive scale. A severe storm has resulted in flooding, landslides, mudslides, power outages, and other incidents across the South Coastal and Interior regions of the province.
The Canadian Red Cross is working to get help to people in and around affected areas as quickly as possible and provide humanitarian assistance for new needs as they arise.
CCM Canada is working with Canadian Red Cross
to fundraise for emergency and disasters relief
CCM Canada is supporting Canadian Red Cross efforts on the ground. We are appealing to our supporters to donate to the British Columbia Floods and Extreme Weather Appeal. Money raised will enable the Red Cross to carry out relief, recovery, resiliency and risk reduction activities in and beyond the region at the individual and community levels.
We know that when a devastating emergency happens, Canadians are there for each other.
Your donations could help bring immense encouragement and comfort to the victims
-
On behalf of the Chinese Christian Mission of Canada, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your donation.

The Government of Canada and the Government of British Columbia will each match every dollar donated to the Canadian Red Cross 2021 British Columbia Floods & Extreme Weather Appeal made by individuals and corporations between November 17 and December 26, 2021., which means that every $1 donated will become $3 to support those affected by the floods and extreme weather.

In our Prayers
- Chilliwack has become the shelter for many people from Abbotsford and other small towns. Several churches have opened their doors to provide shelter and food for the victims. We pray that our Lord will provide proper arrangements for the victims and allow them to return to their homes as soon as possible.
- We pray for small-town residents, especially those who are restaurant owners. Due to road closures, landslips, and flooding, it is difficult to transport supplies. This will lead to a shortage of supplies and store closures. We pray for peace and strength for these owners in this difficult time.
- We pray that the highways and roads will be mended quickly and the transportation systems can resume normal operation in no time. We pray that the affected residents can resume their normal life and live in peace in the near future.
