中國信徒佈道會（中信）在1961年由王永信牧師在美國密西根州底特律市創立。是在一個簡陋的車房開始的，由王牧師用原始手印方式，編印成中信的招牌貨《中信月刊》。四十多年來神使用這本見證小冊子，從沒有脫期，默默地耕耘，打入成千上萬的尋常百姓家，改造了無數的生命。
中信以「福音傳華民，恩澤遍萬邦」的異象，先後在世界各地紛紛成立辦事處。1979年 美國中信差派汪予理姊妹獨自一人到溫哥華成立中信。廿五年來，加拿大中信靠神的恩典已發展至一個廿多人的同工團隊，有本地巡迴及派駐海外的宣教士，還有溫哥華、卡加利和滿地可的同工，以及無數義工，同心為福音的緣故為主作工。
今年是加拿大中信銀禧年，為紀念及見證神的作為，並向祂獻上感恩，我們舉辦了各項誌慶活動，與讀者們、義工們及廣大的群眾，一同分享四分一世紀以來的片段。我們深信，已經成就大事的祂，將要成就更大更美的事。
中信銀禧之夜──影視藝人加國巡迴演
一班香港基督徒藝人一行十人應我們的邀請，千里迢迢，飛越太平洋來到我們中間，支持加拿大福音事工，並參與我們25週年慶祝。在十月七日至十六日十天裏馬不停蹄、不辭勞苦、舟車勞頓、穿州過省、到訪加拿大七大城市。帶來對弟兄姊妹的慰問，並在各地佈道演出，與觀眾分享他/她們有血有淚的人生經歷。除了錦祿市觀眾人數200人以外，在其他城市如滿地可、多倫多、溫尼辟、卡加利及愛民頓，每場平均人數都在1,000至1,800人不等；而在溫哥華Broadway Church的兩場，每場更超過2,000人之眾。這次巡迴演出所接觸到的觀眾人數，估計是超越11,000人之多。對呼召有回應及填寫決志表的人數超過 500人，也為中信月刊增添一千多名的新訂戶。
這次藝人巡迴演出最感人的地方，莫如每個藝人的生命見證。他/她們的「真」與「誠」，絲絲扣人心弦，賺人熱淚，神的愛在他/她們每個破碎的心靈、扭曲的人生、悲憤的烙印中，給與醫治、呵護、堅強和肯定。他/她們從谷底裏、自殺的邊緣上，自卑、空虛、封閉的個性中走出來，從新尋回自我的價值，重拾與家人和好的關係，心靈平靜安穩魯莽，過著與神同行，帶著使命感的充實生活。他/她們也道出心底裏的說話，影視界圈子裏，充滿著魔鬼的陷阱和世界虛榮的誘惑，他/她們能出污泥而不染，是需要屬天的智慧、勇氣、藝人彼此的支持，和弟兄姊妹背後的禱告。
演出的每個環節，無論是蔡少芬、洪欣及謝寧的個人生命見證，黃愷欣及郭力行的短劇、毛舜筠與張堅庭的真情對話，林軍勇的音樂及陳法蓉的幕後及台下的支持，以致小金子以75歲高齡跑足全程，領導藝人們每天有靜修時刻，從神支取力量，及每場的呼召，都看到藝人們全情投入，非常的坦蕩蕩，毫無保留地、謙卑地讓聖靈工作，神的名得榮耀。這次的巡迴演出，得各地的教會、機構、贊助公司和弟兄姊妹及近千名義工同心合力的參與，安排接待、場地、音響燈光、票務、秩序等，無條件的付出時間和辛勞。願榮耀頌讚歸與在天上的父神。
Celebrating CCM's 25th Anniversary

Chinese Christian Mission (commonly known as CCM) was founded by Rev. Thomas Wang in Detroit, Michigan in 1961. It was initially housed in a shabby car port with the first issues of the renowned "Chinese Today" magazine being hand-printed personally by Rev. Wang. For almost 40 years, "Chinese Today" has continued to quietly reach thousands of families and prompted countless life changes.
Over the years, Chinese Christian Mission offices have been established in Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, Macao and Malaysia; all share in CCM's mission for "Reaching the Chinese to Reach the World". In 1979, CCM Canada, with the support from CCM America, was started by Ms. Esther Wong in Vancouver, BC. For the past 25 years, CCM Canada, with God's grace, has developed into a team of more than 20 staff members, with ministries in local short term missions, overseas missions, and services centres in Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. Working with the support of many dedicated volunteers, we serve our Christ wholeheartedly.
This year is CCM Canada's 25th Anniversary. To celebrate and witness God's grace and mercy, we launched a series of events to share our ministry "story" with our many readers, subscribers, volunteers and members of the public. God has done great things amongst us in the past 25 years and He will continue to reveal and fulfill His purposes in wonderful ways.
CCM 25th Anniversary Night - Performance Tour by Hong Kong Artists
A group of 10 Christian artists from Hong Kong were invited to travel thousands of miles across the Pacific Ocean to support the evangelistic ministry here in Canada and to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. Within 10 days, from October 7 to 16, they traversed Canada and visited seven cities. They brought comfort to brothers and sisters in Christ, hosted evangelistic meetings, and shared their life stories which often contained their share of tears and struggles. In Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton, an average of 1,000 to 1,800 people attended each of the meetings. At Broadway Church in Vancouver, over 2,000 people attended each of the two sessions that were held. We estimated that the total attendance at the evangelistic events exceeded 11,000; more than 1,000 people became new subscribers to "Chinese Today"; and over 500 people committed their lives to Christ during those days.
What impressed audiences most during the events were the frank and genuine life testimonies of the artists. They witnessed how God's love brought healing, nurturing, encouragement and strength to their broken hearts and crooked lives. He dealt with their anger, redeemed them from their agony, hopelessness, and emptiness, and gave them self-worth. They were able to reconcile with family members, experience stability and peace in step with God and, most importantly, live lives that were filled with vision and purpose. They readily observed that their environment was often filled with temptation and under spiritual attack, but God gives them discernment and courage, and with the emotional and prayer support from fellow Christians, they remain firm in their faith.
Throughout the tour, we heard testimonies from Ada Choi, Yan Hung, Ning Tse; Shun Kwan Mo and Kin Ting Cheung, enjoyed sketches performed by Tomi Wong and Lik Hang Kwok; were uplifted by music performed by Jiun Yoong Lim, and witnessed the prayer support of Monica Chan. At 75 years, a very youthful Siu Kam Tse participated throughout the missions tour, leading the group in daily devotions and giving the altar call at meetings. The team members consistently reflected their devotion, submission, and humility to the leading of the Holy Spirit as they glorified the Lord. Moreover, we witnessed the unconditional support, sacrifice and participation of many churches, organisations, sponsors, and Christian brothers and sisters. May all glory and praise be to our Heavenly Father.
