Preview of CCM Canada 25th Anniversary Thanksgiving Activities

加拿大中信今年已踏入廿五週年，藉此願與弟兄姊妹一同感謝神的恩典。在十月中旬，中信將舉辦一連串的銀禧慶祝活動。現在先向你們預告，希望能在禱告中紀念我們各項的事工。我們也將會陸續地向大家報告各事工的詳情及參與的辦法。
CCM Canada is celebrating our 25th Anniversary this year. We invite you to join us in praise and thanksgiving to our Lord. In mid-October we will celebrate our Silver Jubilee with a series of events. The following is a preview of these activities. Please remember our ministries in your prayers. We will continue to update you on the details of these activities and ways of participating in due course.

1. 中信銀禧之夜---影視藝人加國巡迴演
CCM 25th Anniversary Evangelistic Cross-Canada Tour

一班的香港基督徒藝人受感動毅然接受中信的邀請，於十月七日至十六日作加國巡迴演出。節目內容包括音樂、歌唱、見證分享等。目前己確知參加的藝人包括：蔡少芬、毛舜筠、李司棋及黃愷欣。仍有三位嘉賓在禱告等候中。他/她們會到訪加拿大六個城市，包括：滿地可、多倫多、溫尼辟、卡加利、愛民頓及溫哥華，共演出七場，觀眾預計超越一萬人之眾。
A group of Christian performing artists from Hong Kong has accepted CCM's invitation to tour across Canada from October 7 - 16, 2004, as one of our major events for the 25th Anniversary celebration. They will be performing in 7 shows, touring 6 cities and speaking to an expected audience of over 10,000. The six Canadian cities are : Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Their performing itinerary is listed in the table below. So far, we have four artists confirmed and will soon hear from three more who are still praying and waiting. The artists who have committed to come are : Ada Choy, Teresa Mo, Louise Lee and Tomi Wong. There will be singing, musicals and personal testimonies of the artists in the shows.

懇請各城市的弟兄姊妹、親愛的讀者們留意這演出進一步的發展、各購票及演出的地點和其他詳情，並邀請你們的親朋摯友參加。
We sincerely invite you to watch out for the latest development of the Cross-Canada Tour in the near future and for the detailed information on the ticket sales and places of performances in your city; and above all, please start setting aside the particular day for attending with your friends and relatives.

2. 中信銀禧感恩祟拜暨晚宴  十月十七日(週日) 溫哥華舉行 
Thanksgiving Worship Service & Banquet    Vancouver, October 17 (Sunday), 2004

下午 4:00 - 5:30  感恩祟拜 自立中華基督教會 
4:00 - 5:30 p.m.  Worship Service Christ Church of China ( 300 E. Pender St.)
晚上 6:00 - 9:30  晚宴 溫哥華華埠富大酒家 
6:00 - 9:30 p.m.  Banquet Floata Restaurant ( 180 Keefer St.)

廿五年來有無數的弟兄姊妹曾經參與中信大大小小的事工、也有為中信事工默默代禱的戰士，我們希望能藉慶祝銀禧之際，邀請你們回來一起聚首一堂，數算神的恩典和引領，並分享中信的近況和前面的異象和挑戰。中國信徒佈道會的創辦人王永信牧師也專程從美國親臨勉勵及祝賀。
In her 25 years of history, CCM was blessed with the involvements of countless number of brothers and sisters in prayers and in her large and small ministries. We wish to gather you back for a big reunion at this joyous occasion in celebrating our Silver Jubilee. Together, we will count God's blessings and share our visions and challenges. We are greatly encouraged also to learn that Rev. Thomas Wang, the Founder of CCM, will make a special trip from the United States to bring us greetings in Vancouver.

當日的聚會先有「感恩祟拜」，於溫哥華自立中華基督教會舉行，隨後移師到華埠富大酒家舉行聯歡晚宴，在歡樂氣氛中享受主賜的愛筵，並有到訪的藝人助慶，遊藝表演及義賣等。晚宴席金每位$25。
On Sunday, October 17, we will begin our Thanksgiving with a worship service at the Christ Church of China, followed by a gala banquet in the nearby Floata Restaurant in Vancouver Chinatown. Besides a full-course dinner and the company of the performing artists from Hong Kong, the evening will be filled with entertaining programs, performances, souvenirs and charity fund-raising of artworks. Dinner cost is only $25 per person.

3. 藝術作品義賣預展
九月廿五日至十月十六日大溫哥華中信中心舉行
Preview of Artwork for Charity Fund-raising
September 25 - October 16, 2004     CCM Centre Exhibition Hall

以上一連串的廿五週年慶祝活動是需要?大的經費，各種活動除售票收入外，仍需籌募款項以補不敷之數。現獲得許多位以往曾於中信畫廊展覽過的藝術家們的支持，捐出他/她們的作品，讓中信以義賣形式籌款資助經費。作品大致包括中西書畫、攝影、雕塑等。將於九月廿五日至十月十六日，在位於大溫哥華本拿比麗晶廣場二樓中信中心，以先到先得的形式預展義賣。部份的作品，也會於十月十七日感恩晚宴席上展覽義賣。
The numerous events of our 25th Anniversary celebration require a large budget which can only be partially recovered by ticket sales. We still need to raise some funds to make up for the deficit. We are very grateful to many local artists who had previously held exhibitions at CCM, for generously donating their artworks to us as fund-raiser for charitable purposes.

各位喜愛藝術作品的弟兄姊妹不容錯過這難得的機會，既可欣賞不同形式的藝術創作造詣，並可以以十分相宜的價錢，購買到心儀的藝術品擺放家中，更可支持中信的事工。以下是近期在中信舉行個展的彭根松醫生的攝影作品，他已答應捐出作品為中信籌款。盼兄姊踴躍支持和參與。
These artworks which include paintings of Chinese and Western style, Chinese calligraphy, photography and sculpture, will be in display at CCM Centre (Crystal Mall in Burnaby) from September 25 to October 16, 2004 for four weeks. Brothers and sisters can make use of this opportunity to view and appreciate the different artistic styles of the many renowned artists residing locally in Greater Vancouver, acquire the ones that you admire and support the ministries of CCM, all at the same time. A selective collection of these artworks will be offered to participants at the Thanksgiving banquet on October 17th.
