CCM Centre (Montreal)

CCM Centre began its ministry in Montreal in 2003.  There is approximately 57,000 Chinese in this city with 11 churches totally around 1,700 members.  CCM Centre is one among 2 Chinese evangelical organizations here.  We strive to:
- communicate, collaborate with local churches in our common goal of urban ministry; introduce the church resources to the locals;
- through our front-line reception services, help immigrants and Chinese citizens alike in their settlement needs such as provide referrals, filling out Government forms and escorting;
- through weekly tutorials, improve the academic standards of the youth, at the same time provide ministering opportunities to our tutors;
- via women's groups and family seminars, get to know them and share our faith with them while bettering their family relationships;
- organize visitation on special occasions such as Christmas and New Year, pro-marriage campaign, etc. to raise general awareness and social concern;
- organize summer day camps in collaboration with local churches, short-term mission teams and different Christian organizations;
- garner Government support in financing part of our community services such as using the employment programs and summer job placement program.
